<<>> I like most, your slant on the news cause I don’t understand the confusing rhetoric thats so present in the media and what are they actually saying, Or trying to skew.

Hi Marta-
I got scolded yesterday from Todd about being a page hog. Sorry. I forgot other people read this too.

Sometimes life is like a bucket of Hotsauce…except mine is filled with crap.

On a more cheerful note, at least the rash finally went away…Sharing too much again? ok, sorry…

Awesome Marta, another very funny bulletin….I think it’s hilarious that Hilary isn’t mincing her words at this stage and political correctness has gone out of the window and is openly trying to use the black muslim movement approval of Obama as a liability….

By the way, it woke me up at 01.00 this morning (the earth quake, not the black muslim movement) and I really was like “thats strange, it sounds like an earthquake but we dont really have them?”.

Anyway, I also cant see a URL (person that posted previously) but yes, unrelenting positive regard for M Costello and definite need to be appreciated by a wider audience.

Earthquakes aren’t so bad (said as a lifetime California resident). Less than 7.0 just ride them out; pretend you’re surfing! Over 7.0 they get a little more interesting so get under your desk, or into a door jamb. I totally get the underpass thing though. Since the 1987 quake that dropped the freeway in Oakland onto all those poor souls, and let loose that section of the Bay Bridge, I never stop under an overpass if I can avoid it. But hey, even though we have more here than elsewhere in the country, they are still rare, right? You’ve been here four years and are still waiting for your first one. Just remember to try to enjoy it when it finally arrives, and remember, they typically don’t last long.

As Flagrante said, they’re not too bad.. just a little jarring while it’s happening, but they pass quickly. After having lived in South Florida during a few of major hurricanes (Cat. 4+), I really think I’d rather have earthquakes!

One and only big quake I have been in was while I was stationed in 29 Palms California in 98 or 99… Can’t remember the year of the quake, it was a 7.1 if I remember correctly with an epicenter that was less than 10 miles away from where I was sleeping…

While not exactly scary… it really does get the point across that one should not think lightly of Ma’ nature when she feels like shaking things up a bit.

The only real downside to the quake? (and this may be TMI)

My wife asked me, not 5 minutes prior to the shaking, if I wanted to have sex, I said no due to having been in the field the previous three days… If I had said yes… there would likely be a shrine in my honor right now somewhere.

As per the norm… Loved the episode, you are the atom bomb…

P.S. Does that big ole’ ring cause you to lean to the right at all? ~grins~
